How do I log in?
There are two ways to log in to your Wide Moat Research account.
Option 1 — One-time login code (recommended):

I did not receive the one-time login code. What should I do?

Try any email addresses you commonly use. If you're still stuck, email [email protected] and we can look it up for you.
How do I access my account profile?
Once logged in, click the person icon in the top right navigation bar. A dropdown will appear with three options:

How do I cancel a subscription?
Cancellation is handled through Stripe, our secure billing provider:

What happens after I cancel?
You keep full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your access to that publication is deactivated. You will not be charged again. Other active subscriptions are not affected.
How do I resubscribe after cancelling?
Visit https://widemoatresearch.com/upgrade and choose the publication you want to resubscribe to.
I subscribed but cannot see my content.
If your subscription is active and you still cannot access content, email [email protected].
How do I unsubscribe from emails without cancelling my paid subscription?
On your account management page, scroll to the bottom and click "Unsubscribe from all communications". This stops email delivery but does NOT cancel your paid subscription — you will still be billed and retain full access.
How do I update my payment method or credit card?
Your payment method is managed through Stripe, our secure billing provider:

How do I view or download my invoices?
My payment failed — what happens?
If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically retry the charge a few times over several days. You will receive email notifications about the failed payment.
To resolve it:
If your subscription is suspended due to non-payment and you would like to regain access, email [email protected].
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds on paid subscriptions. All sales are final. If you believe there was a billing error or have an exceptional circumstance, please contact us at [email protected] and we will review your case.
Why was I charged?
Charges occur when your subscription renews annually. All Wide Moat Research paid memberships are billed yearly. You would have been charged on the anniversary of your original subscription date.
To see a full history of charges, log in → person icon → Edit profile → Billing summary → "View billing info" → Invoice history.
If you do not recognize a charge, email [email protected] with the charge amount and date and we will investigate.
